NBC’s coverage of the Red Bull Signature Series continues Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET, with the 2014 Body Glove Mavericks Invitational. The invitation-only surfing competition features 24 of the world’s best big wave surfers competing in the ultimate big wave contest at iconic Mavericks Beach.

Ten miles south of San Francisco, the winter waves of Mavericks have been posing a challenge to riders for more than two decades. One of the world’s largest paddle-in contests, the international big wave competition is now being televised to a national audience through the Red Bull Signature Series.

Veteran action sports voice Sal Masekela hosts the Red Bull Signature Series on NBC. Now in its third year on NBC, the series is widely regarded as one of the most progressive action sports event series in the world.

The Body Glove Mavericks Invitational is presented by Dodge Dart, Polaris RZR and GoPro.
