    Antelope Island State Park – Syracuse

    Wildlife Mysteries: Winter is a great time to discover some of the secrets of wildlife by learning about and studying their tracks. Join the naturalist at the visitor center at 11 a.m. to learn about animal tracks and tracking. This program is geared those age six to 12, but everyone is invited. Dress for the weather and bring water.

    Antelope Island State Park – Syracuse

    The Winter Hexagon: Bright winter stars are high in the night sky with stories just waiting to be told. Meet at 5:30 p.m. in the visitor center to hear some of the stories. Dress to spend time outdoors. If you bring a flashlight, be sure it has a red filter. Please note, the park gate closes to incoming traffic at 5:30 p.m. 801-721-9569

    Snow Canyon State Park – Ivins

    Cinder Cone Hike: Learn about volcanoes and the volcanic activity responsible for the lava flows in the park. Hike to the top of the Snow Canyon cinder cone during this 1.5-mile, round-trip hike at 10 a.m. Space is limited and registration is required.  435-628-2255
