Boat Ed Sponsors 2012 National Association of State Boating Law Administrators Annual Conference

Boat Ed, an official provider of print and Internet boating safety courses, is the title sponsor of the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators annual conference, held Sept. 8-12, 2012, in Mobile, Ala.

“Our alliance with NASBLA mission partner, Boat Ed, helps drive our goal to educate boaters around the country,” said John Johnson, NASBLA executive director and CEO. “They press the envelope with new technologies, setting the gold standard in safety education.”

The 53rd Annual NASBLA Conference will include daily panels reviewing education standards, survival courses, plus other speakers and sessions. Conference working sessions are aimed at developing public policy for recreational boating safety and ultimately educating boaters.

The Innovations award, presented by Boat Ed, also will be announced at the conference awards lunch. This award recognizes outstanding projects and programs that promote boating safety, bringing more visibility to the project owners while encouraging others to share such initiatives.

NASBLA reaches more than 83 million American boaters through a network of boating law administrators, professional educators, law enforcement officers and volunteers. Such partnerships help NASBLA create education standards, leading to safer and more enjoyable waterways.

Boat Ed provides print and Internet boating safety courses for 49 states, plus the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. For more information, visit www.boat-ed.com or stop by the Boat Ed booth during the NASBLA conference.
