Tubbs Expands FLEX Series with New FLEX ALP XL for 2012

Tubbs Snowshoes, a global leader in snowshoes and snowshoe outreach, expands the award-winning FLEX Series with the addition of the new FLEX ALP XL for tackling the backcountry with heavier loads.

Designed for exploring extreme backcountry terrain, the new 28-inch XL version of the FLEX ALP offers the same aggressive traction with more floatation. With micro-serrated 3D-Curved Traction Rails and the ActiveLift 19º heel lift, the FLEX ALP makes quick work of steep, icy terrain while the streamlined deck shape enhances maneuverability in tight situations.

The FLEX ALP XL and the FLEX Series of snowshoes are the first ergonomic snowshoes optimized for walking on packed and variable snow, using the FLEX Tail design to absorb shock and reduce stress on the joints. Featuring the Active Lift 19º heel lift for easy ascents and Tubbs’ advanced Torsion Deck for enhanced torsional articulation, improved traction, biomechanics and comfort, the FLEX ALP is a performance snowshoe designed to tackle any challenge.

    Available in Women’s 22” length, Men’s 24” and new 28” (XL) lengths. SRP: $229.95
