    Representatives Sought for Utah Trails Advisory Council

    UtahState Parksand Recreation is seeking two representatives to serve on the Utah Recreational Trails Advisory Council (URTAC), specifically representing the interests of Nordic skiers and hikers. Applications will be accepted through Monday, October 22 at 5 p.m.

    URTAC reviews non-motorized trail project fiscal assistance requests and makes recommendations to Utah State Parks staff and board members regarding non-motorized recreation issues. The 10-member advisory council consists of representatives from federal land management agencies, Utah League of Cities and Towns, Utah Association of Counties, and members representing hikers, bicyclists, equestrians, Nordic skiers, and one member-at-large representing the interests of non-motorized trail users in general.
