Please mark your calendars for Barr Lake State Park’s second annual holiday trail and chili cook-off on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Meet us at the Nature Center for a short hike to celebrate the wonders of winter on our lighted bridge and the Neidrach Trail. Other fun activities will include roasting marshmallows, caroling, kids’ crafts and a visit from Santa Claus.

Bring your favorite chili for the chili cook-off to benefit the Friends of Barr Lake. Come hungry and bring $5 to register your dish and/or $1 for a bottomless bowl to sample the cooking!
