The article continues the magazine’s series in which one state park or reservoir property is portrayed through 2016, the 100th anniversary of Indiana state parks.

Readers also will be taken inside DNR’s Law Enforcement’s Recruit School with the cover story of the 48-page full-color magazine, which details what it takes to wear the green of an Indiana conservation officer.

Outdoor Indiana magazine is available now at most DNR properties and Barnes & Noble stores in Indiana for $3 a copy. Better yet, save 33 percent off the cover price and buy a one-year, six-issue subscription for $12.
