New Models RT4-5913 and RT4-5912 Boast Compact Design for Consoles and Flashlights

With its original roots deeply planted in SCUBA, Gear Keeper has always lived and breathed the industry so itʼs not surprising they are adding to an already impressive line of gear attachment products with the introduction of two new RT4 models. The RT4 series is proof that oftentimes less is more, with its streamlined smaller-sized retractors giving divers the same peace of mind that equipment will be where you need it when you need it – all with less bulkiness. The compact design is combined with the companyʼs other field-proven features to create the rugged, retractable RT4 series, a perfect solution for tethering vitals such as consoles and flashlights. Divers can just grab, use and let go knowing the gear will retract back into place on their person.

Designed to protect gear while also making it usable and accessible in severe environments with maximum break strength and durability, the RT4 series is precision made and built to last with a high-impact case ready to take a hit. The series includes a patented flushing system that clears sand and debris from the unit, is salt-water proof and will withstand high-temperature environments. This trifecta of features is augmented by a patented Q/C Connector System that allows for quick and easy connection/disconnection of gear.

The RT4-5913 Mini GK Console retractor is a compact system built to have the necessary retraction force for a console or compass. With a retractor force of 24 oz., the device uses a Nylon-coated stainless steel cable, which extends to 18 inches allowing for ample extension to read gauges while secured to your chest. A snap clip attaches to a D-ring while an additional threaded stud mount offers another mounting option. Connect the retractor to a console with either a split ring or an adjustable lanyard.

The RT4-5912 Mini GK Flashlight system also features an efficiently compact design and is ideal for a small flashlight or single computer/compass module. Strong enough to hold a 4-AA flashlight on the surface, the device has a retractor force of 9 oz. so you can release the unit in the water and gear will retract with a minimal amount of force – barely noticeable to the diver. Ideal for use with flashlights such as the Pelican Stealth or Princeton Tec 40, the snag-proof cord extends to 32 inches and comes with a heavy duty snap clip.

The original Geer Keeper system was engineered specifically for SCUBA diving literally born out of a need to secure items in situations when hands are otherwise occupied. Gear Keeper systems are now available in countless configuration options and also used in applications from hiking, fishing, and hunting to law enforcement, the military and trucking.
