Nature Valley Creates Digital “Street View” Program for America’s National Parks

With Nature Valley's new program, these views can be enjoyed from the comfort of your home.

Nature Valley is launching a digital platform, using cutting-edge technology, to enhance its commitment in preserving America’s national parks. The platform, called Nature Valley Trail View, will bring together 300 plus miles of park trails in three scenic national parks: Grand Canyon, Great Smoky Mountains and Yellowstone.

The street-view style, put together by a human cameraman, is the view that we can now see from our home computers. In essence, digital hiking.

Senior marketing manager for Nature Valley, Scott Baldwin, said, “As a brand that loves the outdoors, Nature Valley’s goal is to inspire consumers to enjoy all that nature has to offer, especially our national parks.”

The goal for the trail view is to get people excited about visiting the parks. Nature Valley has been a long-time supporter of the national parks and has helped raise a lot of money over the years, motivated by the eminent need of preservation. They are a long time supporter of the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) through their own program called Preserve the Parks. The program has funded restoration projects near and in several of America’s national parks, including: Grand Canyon, Grand Teton, Acadia, Great Smoky Mountains, Joshua Tree and Yellowstone.
