Structurmarine, a global leader in the engineering and construction of marina systems, has named Bruno Nolet its sales director for North America and the Caribbean. The Canada-based company provides clients worldwide with complete turnkey marina projects, from project feasibility studies to installation to commissioning.

Having previously worked in both marine engineering and sales for Structurmarine, Nolet brings first-hand understanding of the technical aspects of marina design to his new position. “Marinas are highly complex structures, so having knowledge of their construction puts me in a good position to communicate with our customers.”

As he seeks to increase marina sales across such a wide territory, Nolet said, “We’re seeking out potential partners and possible joint ventures, with the goal of expanding Structurmarine’s presence at the local level.” The changing financial climate also presents challenges, he added. “Selling a marina is a long process, and can take years from the creation of a plan to project completion. It’s essential that we continue to adapt and stay ahead of the market with new products and services.”
