An adrenaline junkie risked jail time to do a speed summit of the Great Pyramid of Giza.
German tourist Andrej Ciesielski traveled to Egypt with one goal in mind: scaling the ancient structure. However, that goal is troublesome for a number of reasons. First off, it’s illegal to climb the pyramid and it’s punishable by up to three years in prison. Secondly, the pyramid is notoriously rough and covered in slippery debris.
Despite these challenges Andej made it to the top of the 455-foot structure in less than eight minutes. Even though it was reckless, that’s still an impressive feat.
