Family hikes can be a great way to bond with your kids. Unfortunately, kids aren’t always up to a long hike. Try this out and maybe you can get your kids to spend more time on the trail.
When hiking with kids:
- Always have a few candies or lollipops in your pocket for those short breaks. I know fruit is better but candy is more fun and portable.
- It’s also useful to have a pair of dry socks for the kids cause no one likes walking in wet socks.
- Remember their legs are a lot smaller than yours and they take 2 steps for every one that you take.
Have fun it’s not always the destination that is the most important thing it’s the getting there that make memories.
