Kokatat, maker of the definitive dry suit for whitewater and sea kayaking, is updating the look of its legendary GORE-TEX® Pro Shell dry suits for Spring 2012 and offering limited editions of its Meridian and Expedition dry suits complimented by a limited edition Ronin Pro PFD.
“We have significantly updated our color pallet for 2012 to enhance the in-store merchandising of our technical apparel,” said Jeff Turner, Kokatat sales and marketing manager. “We haven’t changed the performance or function of our trusted suits, only tweaked the design for a more contemporary look.”
Kokatat’s collection of GORE-TEX® Pro Shell dry suits will be offered in a broader range of colors giving dealers a better selection to merchandise across the complete Kokatat line. Along with new colors the 2012 collection will feature new color blocking with contrasting top and bottom split at the waist for a more modern look. All of the 2012 suits will also receive additional reflective piping details for added style and safety. The 2012 GORE-TEX® Pro Shell dry suits will be offered in lichen, azul, cedar, graphite, mango, radish and black. Customers will also have the opportunity to select custom color combinations.
Influenced by the Rogue dry top, the Limited Edition GORE-TEX® Meridian dry suit has curved lines and contrasting colors on the shoulders, for a look that is popular among whitewater boaters. This limited edition has all the details and function of the in-line Meridian, but in a new look that also features 330 cordura GORE-TEX® from the waist down for superior durability. The Limited Edition GORE-TEX® Meridian will be offered on a limited basis to Kokatat dealers in a special cedar and black color combination.
Kokatat’s Limited Edition offerings for 2012 also includes special color make-ups of some its other legendary products. A Limited Edition GORE-TEX® Expedition dry suit will be offered in an all black version and the Ronin Pro PFD will be offered in a new canvas color with an exciting new logo treatment.
