Alexandria, Va. Sept. 9, 2011 – The only roadside assistance club in the US just for trailer boaters wants to know where you tow. The BoatUS Trailering Club is kicking off its “Show Where You Tow” photo contest, which could win trailer boaters a new EZ Loader trailer, or one of three $100 West Marine gift cards.
The contest is open to any trailer boater, and has three easy steps to enter (no membership necessary). The first is to go online at boatus.com/trailerclub/photocontest and enter your contact information to receive a free BoatUS Trailering Club bumper sticker to put on your boat, boat trailer or tow vehicle. Next, take a photo of your sticker affixed to your towing rig – either at home, on the roadside, boat ramp or lake – and post the photo to the contest website. Lastly, get your friends and family to vote for your photo daily.
The deadline to enter is December 31 and a random drawing will be held by January 31, 2012 to pick the luck winner of the EZ Loader trailer, and the three photos earning the most votes will each win a $100 West Marine gift card.
Unlike other roadside assistance clubs for autos, the BoatUS Trailering Club offers special help just for those who tow boats. For just $38 a year ($24 for BoatUS membership with $14 additional for the Trailer Club), trailer boaters have 24/7 roadside assistance dispatch through over 18,000 roadside service specialists with the experience and equipment to get you back on the road with one simple phone call. Trailering Club Members can have their trailer and tow vehicle towed up to 100 miles to the nearest repair facility and the club also offers flat tire assistance, fuel delivery, lock-out service and will even provide winching service if you are stuck at slippery launch ramp.
