Body Glove was again proud to sponsor and be on hand in force for one of our favorite events of the year, the Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation Surf Fiesta. The “Jimmy,” named after Jimmy Miller, brings together friends, family and surfers of all levels in a unique team format to help raise money and awareness for the Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation Ocean Therapy Programs which help people suffering from physical and mental illness and injury heal through surfing. The JMMF currently works with Wounded Marines at Camp Penldton and many children’s groups in the Los Angeles area. There were over 170 surfers and 500 people on the beach for one of the nicest October days of surf and sun we can remember. Body Glove sponsored the “Best Performance by a Family Award” and rewarded the surfing tandem of Brent and Logan Broza with the a family four pack of Body Glove Wetsuits. We can’t wait until next year!
