Denver, Colo. – Colorado Parks and Wildlife will close the boat ramp at Tarryall Reservoir State Wildlife Area in South Park on Thursday Oct. 27 instead of October 31.
The earlier closure is not expected to impact boaters as no boaters have been recorded on Tarryall the last weekend of October for the last three years.
Located in northeastern Park County off of CR77, the 885-acre State Wildlife Area offers coldwater lake and stream fishing along with big-game hunting, waterfowl hunting and camping. Tarryall Reservoir is one of 11 State Wildlife Areas located in Park County.
