Steamboat Springs, CO, November 23, 2011 — CHAOS Headwear and Vail Valley Foundation (VVF) continue their
sponsorship agreement for the sixth year. Chaos has designed a sophisticated white and silver embroidery
beanie and wool blend grey with white embroidery beanie this collaborative VIP collector’s hat is distributed
to Vail and Beaver Creek retailers and will been gifted on site at the event. These hats are ideal for holiday
gifts and the downhill memories.
Each year, Chaos distributes athlete and VIP event headwear, as well as co-branded event merchandise, and
hats to the crowds at the downhill. Chaos will also distribute their new technical division of CTR-Chaos
Thermal Regulation styles in balaclavas and bandanas at the event. These hats and more are available at local
retail outlets during the upcoming 2011/2012 seasons.

Through athletics, culture and education, the Vail Valley Foundation has been enriching our community, the
lives of our residents, and those of our guests since 1981. Fueled by the generous support of our donors and
an ongoing commitment to serve the people of the Valley, the Foundation is responsible for providing our
community with some of its most treasured annual events, such as the American Ski Classic, Teva Mountain
Games, Birds of Prey Race Week, Vilar Performing Arts Center.
As the only men’s World Cup stop in the United States, the “Audi Birds of Prey” event has evolved into one
of the world’s premier ski competition. Beaver Creek is home to the formidable Birds of Prey racecourse,
challenging an international roster of top athletes to three days of racing including Downhill, Super
G and Giant Slalom. A festival atmosphere surrounds the on-mountain venue is easily accessible, free and open
to the public.
Beaver Creek resort will launch the world cup downhill season starting December 3–5. The Birds of Prey
races start Friday with the Super Combined, Saturday the Downhill, and closing Sunday with the Giant Slalom.
The development of the Birds of Prey men’s downhill course in Beaver Creek is now recognized as one of the
top downhill courses in the world and the only men’s downhill in the United States.
VVF partnership has been instrumental for the Chaos Headwear brand in expanding its consumer base and
