Eider, the French based ski and snowboard apparel brand, announces its inaugural Kid’s Collection, to be premiered at SIA 2012 (booth 1039). The collection features jackets, pants, and accessories in sizes 6-14 and has been designed with the same approach that Eider has used for the past 50 years – to develop technical products that are versatile, functional, and fashionable, that meet the needs of snow sports enthusiasts of all ages.
“As market data has reported over the last year, this is a segment that is experiencing a lot of growth, and we’re thrilled to be developing high quality apparel for the next generation of skiers,” said Linda Greene, Eider Brand Manager. “This collection provides kids with options that are modern, cool and stylish while keeping them warm and dry on and off the mountain.”
Color schemes and design elements of the Eider kid’s line mimic those of the men’s and women’s FW12 collection, allowing retailers the opportunity to merchandise the products together, to tell a whole story. For boys, the collection features shades of blue, black, green, and white. The girl’s line combines designs in aqua, purple, berry, black, and white. Technical features include removable hoods, powder skirts, critical sealed seams, Lycra cuffs, and multiple pockets.
