The new chocolate and peanut butter flavors are packed with a delicious medley of organic cashew butter, papaya, flax seeds, dry roasted peanuts, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, and much more. The addition of the four new Original flavors mid-winter may come at an odd time for most natural food companies, but is completely appropriate for PROBAR. PROBAR was founded in 2001 by a hungry snowboard instructor named Art Eggertsen. Unsatisfied with the lunch options at Snowbird Resort, Eggertsen—a vegan chef by training—took matters into his own hands and created the first “PROBAR” to help him get through 8 hours of non-stop teaching at the resort.
