Creek Company, the category leader in personal fishing craft, has retained b2,inc. of Basalt and Steamboat, Colo. to handle its public relations efforts. Creek Company will partner with b2,inc. to help promote its products and convey its unique brand story.
“We’re excited to be partnering with b2,inc., ensuring that the world gets the information they need on our modern personal fishing crafts,” says Creek Company president Chris Timmerman. “We have an incredible product line with several new models for 2012 and we’re looking forward to telling the fishing world about them. We’re excited to see the results of our synergies.”
Founded in 1986 and now celebrating its 25th anniversary, Steamboat Springs, Colo.-based Creek Company started the personal fishing craft industry with its original trademarked U-boat in 1991. The first company to bring high-end personal flotation craft to the masses via price-point production, it remains a market leader in the category with several patents still employed on fishing craft today.
Highlighting Creek Company’s new offerings for 2012 is the Voyager Frameless Pontoon, a high-performance fishing machine that is half the size and half the weight of anything in its class. Using frameless technology 25 years in the making, the eight-foot-long craft goes from the trunk of a car to the river in just three minutes.
“We’re excited to work with this emerging brand and such an energetic team,” says b2,inc. principal Tim Braun. “Their product line has always had a strong appeal among anglers of all walks, and we’re looking forward to helping Creek Company tell their story and promoting their latest generation of innovative products.”
