    Maine Warden Service: Lost person in Boothbay Located

    Robert Guillard, age 91, was located this evening behind his home off from the River Road in Boothbay. Guillard had gone for a walk on his 40-acre property at 10:00 this morning. His wife notified authorities at 3:30 PM after he did not return home at 12:30 PM as expected. He was located by aircraft by Game Warden Pilot Dan Dufault at 6:50 PM about a ½ mile from Guillard’s residence. Pilot Dufault spotted Guillard lying in a make-shift bed he made of fur bows. Guillard had decided to stay the night in the woods and was located in good condition.

    Several emergency response agencies responded including Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department, Lincoln County Search and Rescue, Boothbay Harbor Fire Department, as well as several family members and friends of Guillard. Game Wardens on scene included Michelle Merrifield and her K9 Duchess, Sergeant Dave Chabot and his K9 Ruby, Doug Kulis, and Joey Lefebvre.
