Skeeter Recognized Again by NMMA for Customer Satisfaction

Skeeter Products, Inc., manufacturer of Skeeter brand boats, announced the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) has once again recognized Skeeter with a CSI Award for excellence in customer satisfaction in two categories: Fiberglass Bass Boats and Fiberglass Outboard Boats. These two categories encompass Skeeter’s full line of boats including bass, walleye, multispecies, fish & ski, and saltwater bay boat products.

This year’s award is the eleventh consecutive for the company in both categories. Skeeter is the only bass and bay boat manufacturer to be awarded with this distinction.

The Marine Industry CSI Awards program honors participating manufacturers that actively measure customer satisfaction and pursue continuous improvement to better serve the customer. Award recipients achieved and maintained an independently-measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher in customer satisfaction over the past year, based on information provided by customers purchasing a new boat or engine during the period between April 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012.

“Customer satisfaction is at the core of everything we do and every boat we build,” said Jeff Stone, Senior Vice President, Skeeter Products, Inc. “This kind of recognition is the result of excellent on-the-water performance and incredible customer service. Our unmatched Limited Lifetime Structural Warranty and Three-Year Stem-to-Stern Component Warranty coverage, by far the strongest in the industry, demonstrates our emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction. I could not be more proud of the Skeeter team for this achievement.

NMMA launched its Marine Industry CSI Award Program in 2001 to provide boat and engine manufacturers with an independently-measured, cost-effective tool to help improve customer satisfaction in the boating industry. The program allows participating manufacturer companies to monitor customer satisfaction on an ongoing basis and to create benchmarks in the industry.
