Colorado’s Vega State Park Closes to Boating

Due to receding water conditions, all boat ramps will be closed at Vega State Park on Monday, Oct.1. This is one month earlier than originally scheduled. Hand launching of watercraft will still be allowed until the reservoir freezes. It is advised that boaters call the park for the current status of the boat ramps prior to coming as water fluctuation may require closure before Oct. 1.
