Fort Kearny State Historical Park | ActionHub

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is looking for volunteers to become certified hunter and bow hunter education instructors.

Hunter and bow hunter education programs teach students how to be safe, responsible and respectful hunters. Certified instructors must be 18 years of age, live in Nebraska and be licensed hunters.

“Teaching hunter and bow hunter education is very rewarding, and you have an opportunity to pass on to the next generation your passion and desire to participate in the hunting tradition,” said Mike Streeter, Game and Parks’ hunter education coordinator. “Please join the ranks of those who make a difference and positively impact the youth of Nebraska.”

For more information or to become a volunteer, visit http://outdoornebraska.ne.gov/hunting/programs/education/volunteer.asp or call Streeter at 402-471-6134 or Heather Weihe at 402-471-5662.
