Suit up and get ready for a world-class thrill. Global nutritional company USANA Health Sciences, Inc. (NYSE: USNA), today announced that it is the title sponsor of an FIS World Cup event. The USANA Freestyle World Cup will take place January 17–19 at Whiteface Mountain in Lake Placid, New York.

“To be named the title sponsor of the 2012 Telluride USANA Ski and Snowboardcross (SBX) Cup and now the Lake Placid event is a huge honor,” said USANA Chief Communications Officer Dan Macuga. “We are thrilled to be able to support the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) and these elite athletes through these international events.”

The three-day competition will feature the world’s premier skiers and host both men’s and women’s moguls and aerial events. The action-packed event will mark the fourth World Cup tournament USANA has sponsored since partnering with the USSA in 2011, and the second time it has sponsored the Lake Placid competition.

The event will be broadcast January 20 on NBC at 3 p.m. EST
