    Team Wave Sport Continues to Grow as New Talent Emerges in 2013 Roster

    Team Wave Sport has long been recognized as some of the world’s best whitewater kayakers, and for 2013 the team will continue the brand’s legacy as a leader in big water paddling for over 25 years. Returners include world class athletes Tyler Curtis, Tanya Faux, and Haley Mills, and Wave Sport would like to welcome newcomers Max Ovett, Sam Ovett, Shane Groves and Chris Bear.

    “The talented athletes on Team Wave Sport specialize in everything from running the world’s biggest waterfalls and rapids, to filmmaking, racing, freestyle, instruction and leading expeditions,” said long-time team manager and top freestyle competitor, Bryan Kirk. “New and returning kayakers alike live and breathe kayaking 365 days a year, always looking for the next big drop, fun play wave and exciting journey. I know the men and women on this year’s team will continue pushing limits and living out the Wave Sport legacy.”

    This season is shaping up to be a busy one for Team Wave Sport. Several athletes will competete in some of the biggest competions in the nation, including the GoPro Mountain Games in Vail, Colo., and the 2013 World Championships near Bryson City, N.C., among others.
