Rocna Sales Network Expands on East Coast

Continuing its aggressive growth strategy for Rocna Anchors, Canada Metal (Pacific) Ltd. announced that Hamilton Marine now carries the high-quality anchor range. Hamilton Marine is the largest discount ship’s chandlery north of Boston, with locations in Searsport, Rockland, Southwest Harbor, Portland and Jonesport, Maine. The company also sells online at www.hamiltonmarine.com.

Rocna is a high performance, next-generation anchor which addresses many of the shortcomings of traditional anchors. A Rocna typically sets within 3 feet, offers excellent penetration through weeds or hard bottoms, and is a top performer for holding power.

“Hamilton Marine provides exceptional customer service to their customers, and we are excited to offer Rocna in the Northeast through a convenient local supplier,” stated Tyler Seebach, vice president marine sales for Canada Metal (Pacific).

“We are confident that our customers will appreciate the security and performance Rocna offers to boaters in our challenging local waters,” said Hamilton store manager Nat Howe. “We have always prided ourselves on offering a wide range of anchoring solutions. With its excellent test results and outstanding reputation in the cruising community, Rocna makes a great addition to our line.”

Hopkins-Carter, in Miami, Florida, was also recently appointed a Rocna dealer. This full-service marine supply store with highly trained personnel has catered to the South Florida market since 1916.

“We are very pleased to add Hopkins-Carter to the catalog of fine dealers offering Rocna anchors,” said Mark Pocock, Rocna product manager for Canada Metal (Pacific). “Their strengths in both technical knowledge and service make them an excellent local Florida source for Rocna.”

Canada Metal (Pacific) is a world-leading supplier of Martyr diecast marine anodes, Rocna Anchors, Titan chain, shackles and dockline, and Octopus Autopilot drive systems.
