Princeton Tec Brings Custom Headlamp Program to 2013 GoPro Mountain Games in Colorado

“This is the second year we are taking our Spectrum customization program on the road,” said George Chevalier, marketing manager at Princeton Tec.

Princeton Tec is bringing its one-of-a-kind custom headlamp program to the people, again. Coming off its successful launch of the Spectrum Road Show last year, Princeton Tec, a New Jersey-based manufacturer of headlamps and handheld lights for the outdoor, bike, tactical, industrial, and SCUBA industries, kicks off the 2013 custom headlamp tour at the GoPro Mountain Games in Vail, Colo., June 6-9.

“This is the second year we are taking our Spectrum customization program on the road and we are excited to bring this great platform to the Mountain Games,” said George Chevalier, marketing manager at Princeton Tec. “We bring everything needed to create custom headlamps on the spot, basically recreating a Princeton Tec production line. Last year’s Road Show was a huge success; it not only is a fun experience for the consumer, the Spectrum customization platform also allows us to educate consumers, shop owners, and shop employees about headlamp customization in real-time setting.”

The Spectrum Road Show launched last year and was the first of its kind, hitting towns around the northeast and theOutdoor Retailer Summer Market Show. The program instills creativity in the consumer and enables you to create a custom headlamp using a 10-color palette for six different headlamp parts, plus two headstrap options. The program uses Princeton Tec’s 70-lumen Fuel headlamp, which can be purchased for the discounted price of $25 at the Games.

As one of the largest celebrations of adventure sports, the GoPro Mountain Games attracts professional and amateur outdoor athletes from across the globe to celebrate life in the mountains. At the Games, the Princeton Tec Spectrum Road Show will be located in ‘Gear Town,’ where fans and athletes can find everything from beer gardens and food, to a collection of outdoor brands and gear giveaways. While there, mosey on over to the Princeton Tec tent to construct your own, one-of-a-kind headlamp.

This summer, the Spectrum custom headlamp program will hit the road and visit the following areas: Huntington Beach, Calif.; Oxnard, Calif.; Outdoor Retailer Summer Market; Salt Lake City, Utah; Princeton, N.J.; Philadelphia, Pa.; Rockville, Md.; and Arlington, Va.
