After recently passing the torch of president, Frank S. (Bob) Beckerer Jr. will now serve as CEO of the Beckson Companies. This shift in position enables Beckerer to remain deeply involved in the businesses, while also serving as a mentor to other employees and driving the multi-company family.

Beckson Marine was incorporated in 1979 and Bob Beckerer was the company’s first and only president until recently. Over the years, he has also devoted his time to the well-being of his community. Many Beckson employees have obtained GED, college and master’s degrees at company expense. In-house educational programs ensure employees can easily broaden their knowledge and advance company goals. Beckerer also founded and managed a local charter school, Bridge Academy.

“Bob is a dedicated leader and will continue to serve as the guiding light of the Beckson Companies,” said Steve Anschutz, Beckson Marine president. “He leads by example and provides many resources to our employees and community to ensure all can develop their skills and education. We’re very glad to continue to have him on board as CEO.”
