Mammut, the Swiss quality providers of alpine gear and apparel, is excited to partner with Protect Our Winters (POW) for the company’s “Mammut Stampy Stomp 15k” trail running race. Hosted by the Catamount Outdoor Family Center and named after Mammut’s iconic mascot, Stampy, the family friendly race will take place on October 5th at the Catamount Outdoor Family Center at 10:00 am.
“We’re excited to host our first trail running event locally to support the Catamount Outdoor Family Center and raise awareness for the work POW is doing to ensure sustainable winter recreation around the world,” said Bill Supple, CEO of Mammut North America. “It’s a great time to transition into the winter season as soon we’ll shift from trail running to Nordic skiing at Catamount.”
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Catamount Outdoor Family Center and Protect Our Winters. Protect Our Winters was founded by professional snowboarder, Jeremy Jones, and works to engage and mobilize the winter sports community to lead the fight against climate change.
