The SkiA Sweetspot Ski Trainer will be available to try at both Manchester and London Ski & Snowboard Shows this October. The best way to understand the SkiA Sweetspot Trainer is to try it for yourself

Anyone will be able to try the trainer out for themselves at both ski shows on the SkiA stands, with expert guidance available from a BASS instructor. The trainer is suitable for all levels of skier, from beginner to expert and even if you have never skied before, it will provide an insight to the kind of balance required to stand on a pair of skis.

The SkiA Sweetspot Trainer is a dry land training device that attaches to any size of adult ski boot and has four different levels that include green, blue, red and black. Just like marked ski runs, the difficulty level goes up with green being the easiest and black the most challenging. Even the top professional skiers find it hard to balance on the hardest level, so why not come along and see how skilful you are at balancing in ski boots?

Dr Martin Breach, Inventor and founder of the SkiA Sweetspot Trainer says:

Britain’s number one female ski cross athlete and Olympic racer, Emily Sarsfield, will be making an appearance at the stand in London during the week and has recently started using the SkiA device with her Physical Trainer, Nick from UP Clinic.
Emily says:

“I’ve been using the trainer for balance exercises and we both think it’s great. We use a variety of tools in the gym, but the SkiA Sweetspot Trainer really helps to increase balance awareness.”

The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard North takes place in Manchester, Event City from Friday October 25th until Sunday October 27th inclusive. The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Show London, Earls Court starts on Wednesday October 30th and ends on Sunday November 3rd.

Other highlights include 20,000 ski pass giveaways at both Manchester’s Chill Factore and The Snow Centre, Hemel Hempstead, free ski lessons, ice skating and a huge variety of winter sports holidays and equipment on offer.

All visitors to the show will be able to try the SkiA Sweetspot Ski Trainer free of charge and boots provided by Rossignol will be available for trial purposes.
