Sock company Farm to Feet is dedicated to the creation of its products taking place in the United States. It sources 100 percent of the Merino wool used in the socks from ranches within the country, is committed to a 100-percent American supply chain, and employs US citizens.
Whether you like running, mountain biking, or hiking, Farm to Feet has it all.
“The parent [company] of Farm to Feet is Nester Hosiery, and they’ve been making socks for over 20 years in the outdoor space,” said Michael Collin from Pale Morning Media. “Last year they launched Farm to Feet with just a couple socks, and they’ve expanded the line from a unisex, everyday hiking and sporting collection to more adventure sports. This year, there’s a complete new women’s line…and more fun colors and designs.”
I had a chance to test out a pair of the Madison socks, which are a medium-weight sock made for hiking. They retail for $23 per pair. Although the price seems a bit hefty for one pair of socks, I can attest to the fact that they’re absolutely worth the money.
After spending several days walking around the Salt Palace Convention Center during the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market, it’s safe to say my feet were in quite a bit of pain. The relief I felt after putting on the Olive Night/Mango shade of the Madison socks was immediate. Not only did the pain from my forming blisters disappear, but the socks are compression socks with full-density cushioning, and did not slouch down in my boots over time.
All of this makes for a great buy in my mind.
