Friday marked the beginning of the USA Indoor Track & Field Championships, which are being held in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The competition will run until Sunday at the Albuquerque Convention Center, where reigning world indoor record holder Jenn Suhr as well as Olympians Galen Rupp and Manteo Mitchell will be some of the most-recognized athletes.
Events will be airing on USATF.tv beginning with the heats of the women’s 60-meter hurdles at 2 p.m. (EST). NBC Sports Network will broadcast races live starting at 4:30 (EST), with USATF.tv picking coverage back up at 6:30 p.m. (EST) with The Cool Down, which features post-event highlights, athlete interviews, among other additional footage.
Sunday’s events will be shown on NBC Sports Network, Universal Sports, and USATF.tv. The Cool Down will be shown at 5 p.m. (EST) following the competition’s end.
The championships are the last stop on the 2014 USATF Indoor Championship Series. This weekend’s competition will decide what athletes will be representing Team USA at the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships that will be held in Sopot, Poland from March 7-9.
