Kelly Slater is without a doubt one of the best surfers in the world.

Being the best at anything takes both natural talent and lots of practice. However, it’s hard to get as much practice as you want when the waves you rely on are mostly weather dependent. That’s why Kelly Slater had this unbelievable wave park built.
The Kelly Slater Wave Company as it’s officially known combines advanced engineering and cutting edge design to create the longest, rideable open-barrel man made wave in the world. The waves it generates are so perfect that unless you can see the actual wave making machinery it’s hard to tell they are manmade.
Interestingly enough the advanced wave pool is also 100% solar powered, making it the “greenest” wave pool on earth as well.
