Nordic adventure giveaways are always exciting (just ask Fjällräven), and Suunto is the latest company kicking off something big. The compass and sportwatch brand is bringing six winners this summer to Finnish Lapland to explore Suunto’s homeland and what the idea of “adventure” means.

The event, which is taking place July 16 to 20, 2025, is called the Suunto Dream Adventure. Joined by two Suunto ambassadors — endurance running and cycling athlete Jenny Tough and ski mountaineer Greg Hill — the winners will trek through the untouched wilderness of northern Lapland, paddling down rivers and across lakes, as well as biking through the arctic tundra on the way to the next camp site.

The group will sleep in tents, with everyone carrying their own gear. Each day will include about 15 to 25 km worth of activities, and the group will get to experience the “midnight sun” during a time of year when daylight is around the clock.

• Ensure that your Instagram or TikTok account is set to public.
• Post on your Instagram or TikTok feed, a video of maximum 60 seconds answering the questions “What does adventure mean to you?,” “Where does adventure start for you?” and “Whether it’s your greatest adventure so far, a thrilling experience you recently had or a bucket list adventure you’re dreaming about.”
• Tag @suunto and use the hashtag #SuuntoDreamAdventure

Suunto will cover flights to Finland and transportation inside the country, all activities and transfers to and from activities, accommodations and sleeping equipment (tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads), gear needed for activities (backpacks, helmets, cooking kit, dry bags etc.), and meals.

The deadline to enter is May 4, 2025, and winners will be notified by May 12. All applicants must be at least 18 years old. A good basic level of fitness is vital.
