After 25 years as a professional BMX rider, nine X Games, and making history by landing the first-ever 720 on dirt, Tim “Fuzzy” Hall has joined the Powder Mountain team as the director of sports marketing.
“This is a homecoming for me,” said Hall, who was born and raised in Brigham City, Utah and learned to snowboard at Powder Mountain. “I’ve always had a special place in my heart for PowMow. Seeing how passionate the new ownership group is about rethinking what is possible–not just in action sports, but in life–is inspiring.” In 2013, the Summit Group purchased Powder Mountain, becoming the youngest ownership group of a ski mountain in the United States.
As director of sports marketing, Hall will manage new athlete relations, partnerships, and media and events. He has previously served as an athlete manager and lead project manager for Red Bull, and has been an athlete ambassador and course designer for contests like the
Dew Action Sports Tour, Gravity Games, and Vans Triple Crown. Hall plans to put Powder Mountain on the map as a four-season destination for athletes of all types.
“Fuzzy is the perfect person to drive our vision of bringing more action sports and adventure to Powder Mountain,” said Greg Mauro, chairman of Powder Mountain. “He has a progressive vision for the future, yet he embodies the core values and heritage for which Powder Mountain is known.”
