The Rock ‘n’ Roll St. Louis Marathon and Half Marathon is a premier athletic event that provides a fun-filled tour of St. Louis’ vibrant neighborhoods, scenic parks and historic sites. The event, which has been held for the benefit of Team Activities for Special Kids (TASK) for the past three years, has hosted the TASK Force charity racing team and raised more than $2.5 million for TASK.
For 2014, the Quinn Family Foundation will once again serve as the title sponsor of the Rock ‘n’ Roll St. Louis Marathon. In effort to expand the benefitting charity component to a greater number of charities, the Foundation has established rungevity –a premier turnkey charity racing program to benefit selected St. Louis charities in a unique and exclusive way. Two local charities have joined rungevity as part of this year’s event – Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital and Team Activities for Special Kids (TASK).
As part of rungevity, these charities have built teams that are raising awareness and funds, including a matching gift from the Quinn Family Foundation. For participants, joining the rungevity team means fundraising for a local charity, while enjoying access to premium training activities and a rockstar race-weekend experience. Exclusive VIP access for rungevity participants includes: Saturday night dinner at a unique venue; race-day VIP tent with food, beverages, entertainment, private restrooms, gear check & more; and a Sunday night concert at Plush, featuring Weezer with special guest, Sleeper Agent.
