    Janelle Nelson, VP, Portfolio Analyst at RBC Wealth Management Speaking on OIA Made in America Working Group Call

    Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) Made in America Working Group is pleased to announce that Janelle Nelson, Vice President, Portfolio Analyst at RBC Wealth Management will be joining its monthly conference call on Tuesday, October 21 to provide perspective on the current state of the U.S. manufacturing renaissance.

    An industry professional since 1984, Nelson has been a Portfolio Analyst with RBC Wealth Management’s Portfolio Advisory Group since 1993. Janelle is part of a team that actively manages two equity income strategies for the firm, the Guided Portfolio: Prime Income and Guided Portfolio: Dividend Growth. Within the team, she takes a strategic focus on non-traditional cash-flow securities and energy-related companies.

    On Tuesday’s call Nelson will focus on:

    • Durability of domestic and global economic growth
    • The role of the trend towards US energy self-sufficiency
    • Rethinking the risk/rewards of outsourcing, especially the examination of costs in addition to labor are shifting the conversation
    • Finally, the attitude of investors to the “Made in America” trend.

    OIA Made in America Working Group’s monthly calls are open to members and non-members alike. OIA invites all to call into Nelson’s presentation, which will occur via GoToMeeting at 3:00 Eastern/1:00 Mountain/12:00 Pacific on Tuesday, October 21.     OIA Made in America Working Group

    Launched in 2013, the OIA Made in America Working Group was established to provide a forum for outdoor companies who manufacture in the United States to connect, share resources and communicate their needs and challenges to OIA. In the past year, the group has discussed such topics as the Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines for “Made in America” labeling, the Berry Amendment and government procurement, databases and resources on U.S. sourcing, and workforce development.
