Kästle, the storied Austrian ski manufacturer, has announced the hire of two new sales representatives to support accounts in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming, in conjunction with additional hires to Kästle USA, the Salzburg, Austria-based company’s subsidiary. To further streamline the company’s North American logistics, distribution has also been shifted to Denver, CO, closer to the company’s Vail, CO base of operations.
“Kästle USA expanded the sales force and in-house team to better serve the U.S. dealers and consumers, solidifying how serious the brand is about the US marketplace, it’s a crucial element to elevate Kästle to the next level in the US marketplace,” states Jesse Pomerantz, President Kästle USA. “Between the brand’s commitment to high-quality products, our new structure and our streamlined logistics, I feel more confident than ever about Kästle USA’s potential.”
Sales rep Marc Lee will take charge of all Colorado sales beginning November 1, 2014. Lee comes to Kästle USA with many years of experience in the ski and outdoor industry, with particular knowledge of specialty retail in Colorado.
Salt Lake City-based sales rep Ryan Davenport began handling Kästle USA accounts in Utah and Wyoming on September 1, 2014. Coming to Kästle USA with close to a decade of experience in the ski and outdoor industry, Davenport will take the reins of Kästle USA’s growing Utah and Wyoming business. Davenport and Lee will join Kästle USA sales reps Dan Mitchell in New England and Matt Cassidy in the Pacific Northwest.
Mavis Fitzgerald has been brought on to manage Kästle USA’s sales and marketing, helping to strengthen the company’s US processes. With far reaching knowledge of the outdoor industry and a long-standing relationship with Kästle, Fitzgerald will help synthesize Kästle USA operations. Supporting Fitzgerald’s roll in sales and marketing, Matt Miller will provide in-house support as a sales associate, transitioning from his previous roll as a Kästle USA intern while he studied ski and snowboard business at Colorado Mountain College. Kästle global athlete Griffin Post will be managing the company’s media and athletes, in addition to his full-time athlete roll.
